If you are working with a small space, put up several mirrors. Mirrors make a room appear larger than it is, which should help make the room look better. Therefore, in order to improve your home design project, purchase a high-quality mirror or two.
The compensation plan. All compensation plans are not that great. In a perfect world you would get 100%, but then you’d have to create, patent and deliver a product. It’s much easier to market someone else’s. Just shoot for a pay out between 40 and 60% commission plan.
While these units are more expensive than even an expensive flush toilet, ultimately they are much cheaper. I saw prices of up to ,500 for a multi-chamber remote system and one toilet (additional toilets are extra). But that still saves you the cost of a connection to the sewer or installing a septic system with leach field and holding tank. If you go with a waterless system you also don’t have the cost of bringing water piping to each toilet (or the sewage away from each toilet), or the cost of the water for every flush. Since toilets are credited for comprising about one quarter of a home’s water use, that becomes a handsome savings quickly.
Curb appeal is everything! You can take two identical homes next door to each other, both for sale. The first home has a cluttered yard with tall grass and weeds. The shutters on the house are chipping. There are toys in the yard. When you open the screen door, it’s half way off the hinges. The inside is fairly cluttered as well, and the wall could use a coat of paint. On the other hand, the owners of the home next door paid 0 for a landscaper to mow the lawn, trim the shrubs and clear the gutters. Inside, they added a fresh coat of paint and cleared up all the clutter. Again, the two homes are identical. Both owners paid the same amount for the same model. Guess which home is going to fetch more money?
Tops of entertainment centers and stands shouldn’t be bare but they also should show! Often times homeowners pack on the pictures and collectibles too heavy leading to lots of beautiful items with no way to focus in on any. Less is more. Pick the items you want to keep or the ones that make the best statement or compliment the room’s decor. Make a select few focal points and let them stand alone.
But recently i started seeing articles about the “new” composting toilets and how homeowners were installing them in middle-America homes and office buildings. They’ve been a fixture (no pun intended) in Europe for a long time. Natural cuisine at home says this is the fastest growing trend in green building. What a radical concept! I had to investigate. Maybe we’d be using this in our next home.
The placement of mirrors on a wall that is opposite of windows can brighten up a room. A nice mirror can reflect the window’s light and make it look like there are two windows. This will make the room more light and bright.
