Simple Patio Covers Can Be Built Just Like This

R.: Fresh Home debuted in 2009 (in fact, we were a Folio top 15 magazine launch) when other shelter publications were shutting down. We decided to address the increasing trend of young homeowners on a budget-a demographic that has not previously been reached by a shelter magazine with dollar-savvy ideas and projects they can execute on their own. We are always encouraging our readers to celebrate their unique and personal style by breaking the rules, getting creative and doing it their way.

Now that you have your materials and you can begin construction on this exciting project. Think of the enjoyment you will have under your shaded patio and know that you built that cover yourself. Make sure that your footings are in the right place. When you set the posts, check and double check for plumb and square. Remember, your beams and other lattice cross member pieces will be sitting on this ‘foundation’. There is nothing worse than having your pergola being racked. This makes it so obvious that you built it yourself – and did a poor job at that!

One great tip for interior design is to be sure that drapes, curtains and blinds match your room. Having modern blinds, yet old drapes will make the room appear very odd. Additionally, your window dressing should match your furniture as well.

Bad Listings Sell. This is my favorite reason. Don’t ask me why, but I’ve had some of the nicest listings sit on the market forever, and some of the worst sell immediately. Go figure. There’s one thing I’ve noticed: When you look at the HUD-1s, they all look the same. I especially like the top line on page 2. How about you?

But recently i started seeing articles about the “new” composting toilets and how homeowners were installing them in middle-America homes and office buildings. They’ve been a fixture (no pun intended) in Europe for a long time. Natural cuisine at home says this is the fastest growing trend in green building. What a radical concept! I had to investigate. Maybe we’d be using this in our next home.

Mark has made that last part – community – easy with the creation of the Pickle Posse. The Posse is named after Pickle Road – the location of Mark’s actual home and studio and is made up of quilters from all over the world who belong to the Yahoo group. It is the place to socialize with other fun, interesting, and open-minded quilters and crafters.

Is your product related to health, wealth, and love? People seek three things in most things that they do. It is important to understand this as a marketer. These emotional components are very important as people buy emotionally and do things emotionally. Try your best to tie the benefits of product in to these three and it makes product marketing easier and funner. Try to tie in to at least 1 if not all of these 3 things.
